First things first. Thank you for taking the time to check out my website! If you purchase something, thank you again! I have always dreamed about putting my creative talents to good use but prior to having kids, I didn't know how to go about this. Amazing what having triplets & becoming a stay-at-home mommy can do! If you met me in person, you would know I am probably one of the least girly-girls you will come across. I have been a tomboy most of my life & have always prefered the outdoors to staying inside. Imagine MY surprise when I started making girly stuff for my 2 daughters!
After overcoming many obstacles, my husband & I found out that we were expecting triplets in September of 2007. Never in our wildest dreams would we have imagined what unraveled in the following months & now years! On March 31, 2008, our triplets were born at 33 weeks 6 days gestation (above average for triplets) & spent 10-14 days in the NICU. Luckily, they were all healthy & only needed to show that they could take a bottle & put on some weight before they came home. Since April 15th of that year, our life has been a rollercoaster ride! Being the mother to Sofi, Ian, & Gabriella is the BEST THING IN THE WORLD! My husband has been very supportive in my new venture. I love him w/ all my heart!
The diaper cakes started off w/ me making them for a couple of friends. The next thing I knew, MK was asking me to make THREE for a shower she was hosting & that is when I decided it would be a good idea to start Divine Diaper Cakes. Something similar happened w/ the tutus. I decided I NEEDED tutus for the girls to wear at their birthday party. Well, another friend saw what I did & wanted one for her daughter. I made it as a gift. Then, the same friend that bought my first diaper cake decided she needed to purchase FIVE tutus & matching bows! The rest, as they say, is history.
